Moonrise over Lake Lucy Here we see a typical magical August evening in Minnesota, complete with a still lake, canoe, blue water, green tress, and a rising full moon. Not pictured are the swarm of mosquitos that followed us around the lake and really laid into me when I stopped to take this photo. Also not pictured above... my fearless and constant companion, Dandelion, the black and white border collie golden retriever mix. Oh, there she is.
